cant get my dvd to play in my dvd player/ps2

I have downloaded a movie using kazaa lite and i want to burn it onto a dvd. I burned it onto a dvd usind windvd creator but it wont work on my ps2 but it will work in the pc. I also tried cpying a dvd and that didn't work in the ps2 either even though the dvd i copied worked fine. Its driving me crazy.
Can any1 help me.
