  1. I have just started making backups of my DVD collection using the latest version of DVDshrink, the first dozen or so copied fine but now when I copy any DVD I get skipping and jumping during the movie.

I have not changed any of the settings within DVDshrink. The DVD's are not dirty or scratched.

Please could someone give me some help?

    Thanks

  3. Have you changed the disks you use ? Some films need more compression than others, but that shouldnt cause skipping and jumping.. Sounds more like media has gone off.

  4. I'm 2/3rds of the way through a pack of 25 ridata disks. Could it be that the last few are having the problem?

    Thanks

Try and defrag your hard drive on a regular basis.I had some minor problems and after cleaning up and defraging the hard drive,i have no problems any more.

  6. Well i just reauthored vobs with dvdshrink from 4.38gb to 4.02gb (taking in mind that someone said some need more compression than others), anyways, i burned to disc and it worked fine but ive only done this once, need to try it again. but also i used the dvd-shrink in burner this time also....does that make any difference??? 7. What are your system specs?

Could be a lot of things, media, etc. Try playing them on the pc before you write them to see if they work.
