Extracting video from a dvd please help

I am making a senior slideshow for my school and i have the slideshow in but i am trying to take video from another dvd but when i try to copy the vobs and add them. DVDlab does not like the files when i try to demultiplex them so that i have a video and audio stream it says the audio is linear pcm and i have to convert it somehow. Is there any good programs(Free, or trials) that will demultiplex or change the format of the 2 vob files so that i may add them into the dvd without loosing quality.

Freeware for demuxing: VobEdit, ReJig.

If you your slideshow doesn't have audio then demux only video. If you do need the audio, all of it must be in the same format. BeSweet is a free converter beetween the audio formats.
