    hi,
    so i need to install a divx codec, but would prefer to have one that doesn't put that "divx" marker on the video. i was thinking opendivx would work, but i can't seem to find much info about it.
    is there a difference between divx codecs, and is one better than the other? do any of the free versions encode without the marking?

    The DivX logo can be disabled by using the configuration utility. It's not actually in the video.
