  1. Can anybody help me. I've read the info here on how to make vcd's, but have yet to get them to play. My manual says the DVD player should play vcd. Can someone walk me through this? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

  2. Difficult without knowing what you've done so far, I suspect that it may be that you havent burned your cd'd as VCD but perhaps burned them as data cd's, what program are you using to burn the vcd's

  3. Also Toshiba's apparently can be picky with media (still trying to get mine working), try on a CDRW aswell, but do the above one first !!!!!

  4. I checked the disc again, and it is a vcd. I saw some further info and i'm going to try using an acer cdrw.

  5. acer cdrw works! i have a movie that is 2 avi's. once they are converted to mpeg1 files, can both be placed on the same disc and be viewed one following another?

  6. With a VCD your maximum length of film is the same as it would be for an audio CD, if the length adds up to that you can add them as two seperate "tracks", just think like an audio CD but with video.
