  1. What are some good accesories for a digital8 Camcorder?

I was thinking about getting a light, but I don't know which is the best to get. Any thoughts?

What about lenses and microphones. In general what do you reccamend and do you have any specifics in mind?

    Thanks.

Depends. What are you wanting to do. Home movies, just video the kids birthday parties, make some indy movies, film weddings?

If you are want to do anything more than just film the kids during their party, I'd suggest getting a uni-directional mic. It is the first thing you'll need.

A UV filter can help to protect you lens and also help with filtering out certain hard to view colors. This is the first thing that I bought besides the case. Next i want to get a wide angle lens and also longer life battery.
    This is so much fun!
