I was reading through this topic:

I got to the part where teeth were mentioned and I must say, it seems there is some disparity in parts of the world relating to dental care. I'm in Japan and I've seen some pretty ragged "grilles." I think some of those folks could eat corn-on-the-cob through a chain link fence. I saw something referring to the British as well. I read that teeth are very crucial in attractiveness of an individual. What are your thoughts on this? Do certain parts of the world give more priority to teeth?

yeah, america seems teeth obsessed. all your kids have retainers and "headgear". as long as you can chew your food, does it matter?

I live in Japan too...and I must agree...Ive seen some pretty horid teeth, and guys seem to be attracted to it

We tend to practice good hygiene over here - and that many jobs come with heath/dental benefits, most take advantage of it.
Not to mention we live in an extremely vain culture.

No one is perfect. No even a film star or your favorite model is.

I got nice teeth. They aren't perfect though and normally not noticed as hidden.

Teeth being healthy and able to eat food is most important for all of us.

I have to remember to visit the dentist once in a while for a check up.

I also have to remember to clean my teeth every day and thats so important too.
