Ok, this one has me stumped. A friend from Erurope has sent me a bunch of family vids. They were chunked up into several sets of 20 or so 10 meg files. They are PAL VCD video with VBR MP3 audio. I want to convert them to NTSC VCDs so I can burn them to a VCD or DVD. PAL video to NTSC, no problem. VCD to DVD, no problem. How the heck do I join these puppies together so I don have to individually process several hundred files? Plus, how do I demux the audio so I can convert it? My usual choices TMPEGenc, Vdub Mod, MainConcept, mpeg joiner, even avisynth all throw up their hands (and errror out after filling memory) when trying to deal with these. The best results I get are very slow video after conversion and no audio or a steady shreik of audio. The files play fine and all check out fine, so I believe the are as stated. I can kind of do ok with MainConcept, one file at a time. I can demux the video, but not the audio, and convert the video fine.
Anybody else dealt with something like this? Any suggestions? I would especially be interested in a process that allowed me to join the files first, or at least batch process them.
