When I'm capturing my video on my computer from my camcorder, sometimes through out the tape it becomes choppy. It freezes up for a half second or so, and I lose that time when it continues.
i've tryed using a head cleaner and ran that a few times but thats not helping it. I've used several different DV tapes so its not the tapes either.
my only option now is to have it shipped out to JVC and have them charge me a ton of money to fix whatever is wrong, I was hoping maybe someone here is familiar with this and may know whats causing this to happen?
thanks

How are you capturing and with what program? Is your memory configured as high as it can hold, have you removed all unneeded registries, shut down unused programs, are you doing nothing on your computer but capturing (no surfing, etc.)?

It would help to know your computer details, operating system and what program you are using to veiw them.
