This has been my first attempt at using iDVD 3 on my Beige MT and I'm disappointed with the results.
I added 6 iPhoto 4 albums through iDVD 3, added audio from iTunes 4.5 and processed.
The menu works fine but when playing each slideshow about half of pictures appear blue (washed out?) and the audio will skip at each transition. One song, in fact, drops out completely, for 10 seconds, replaced with static.
Any ideas?
Is this too much for my system? (see profile)
Each slideshow had about 30 pictures each. I think the finished project was less than 400mb

Oops. I wrote a reply before checking your profile. I don't know the minimum system requirements for iDVD 3 but you may have exceeded it. Also, if you are using an iTunes Music Store download and don't have QuickTime 6.5.1 then the audio will be a problem. Check the iDVD and iPhoto forums at discussion.info.apple.com for tips.

What did you use for playback? Many standalone DVD players have problems with very high bit rates - I know that some transitions when using Best Quality caused audio skipping on 1 out of 3 of my DVD players. Switching to Best Performance fixed the issue.
Also, strange sized photos have been known to cause problems/corruption with iMovie and iDVD. I think iDVD and iMovie like 640x480 photos.
