    I had trouble putting episodes of Sopranos (season two) on DVD-R's. Well not anymore, I ripped with dvd-decrypter, added titles only, to dvd-shrink, then yahooooo!!!, would write with nero. Only no menus, but who wants menus with episodes, really.
    Gotta love/hate this new technology!!!

    I like backing up sopranos with clonedvd.
    I just split the disks in half and keep the menus in tact.

    All Box set backups are on hold until Dual Layer disc become affordable.

    Other then that I use a combo of DVDShrink and menu edit to split to 2 disc while keeping the menu.
