    Some multis i make (not all) when i try and watch them on my pc with powerdvd i get an error that says unknown file format, but when i burn the dvd with Nero it plays fine.

    Do you get the same on the PC with WMP or MPC? I ditched powerdvd ages ago because of such issues.... Sometimes a reboot followed by an attempt to play the DVD works too...
