    I had to replace a HD and reinstall everything, but now i'm locked in at only writing at 1x. The other speeds are greyed. This is in both nero 6 and recordnowmax.My writer is a pioneer dvr 106d and i used 4x fuji and memmorex media.

    Try upgrading your firmware. You might also want to update nero. There have been a number of bugfixes.
