    Thanks for the information! I do have one question. When you put the removable hard drive in your computer do you stil get the audio drop out? Just wondering.

  3. No, the captured vob files play back perfectly on the computer, just as they do from a DVD+R or +RW disc after you copy them over from the OSM menu.

    The DVDRHD04 records to both the HD and DVD discs perfectly, they merely have a firmware glitch in the playback of the files from the HD on the unit itself.

  4. That's pretty cool, I might have to try that. I finally found a DVDRHD04 today, a new WalMart just opened and they had 2 of them, well now they only have one. I haven't had a chance to play with it yet so I can't comment.
