  1. Hi folks,

Just wondering if anybody had any suggestions for a good brand of inkjet printable cd labels. I had always been particularly fond of a brand called "Stick it Right" by "Great Gizmos" but those don't seem to be available anymore. What I liked about them is that they had a gold metallic backing (i.e. the sticky part) which ensured that nothing already on the cd could show through the label.

I've tried a few other brands (such as memorex and neato) and have been very disappointed by how thin and transparent their labels are, even the glossy variety.

If I hadn't inherited a box of 2000+ branded cdrs, I'd just go buy some non-branded ones, in which case the thinness of the label probably wouldn't make much difference.

But in any case, does anybody have any suggestions on a brand of printable cd labels that are actually thick or opaque, so that the cd branding doesn't show through?

    Thanks,
    ojo

  2. Have you tried silvered lables - sure they are thin but text will
not show through. Thick labels have been reported to have caused
    more problems than thin.
