  1. I am trying to backup Kill Bill Vol. 1 and DVD shrink says it will not do it because of a copyright protection. This is the first one I had a problem with. Any suggestions or programs to get around this?

I don't remember how I did it, but you can always use Decryptor. It should defeat any protection and then you can use shrink.

rip with DVD DECRYPTER in FILE MODE, then use DVD SHRINK. if you still have problems use a older version of DVD SHRINK.

I've only gotten errors like that when the disk is scratched or with movies with that blue FBI warning screen. I've had one that DVDDecrypter would'nt even rip. But I got around it by choosing movie only in Decrypter. Then ran the VOB's thru IFOEdit. Then if it's still to big you can always run it thru DVDShrink after all this.

Kill Bill will actually fit onto a DVD-R without ANY compression if you lose the DTS audio ...

Did Kill Bill V1 in Shrink - Movie only - No problems at all. It's your disk that's probably giving the problem?
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!

  9. This type of problem is common. If a forum search was performed, the solution could have been found.
