So im going to be using my mic on my computer for a video im doing. But when i test it out, it doesnt sound so clean, there's a high pitched sound in the background that i would love to get rid of. Does anybody know of any good program i should use? I only have used the default sound recorder in the windows accesories.

you are NOT going to get a good clean recording using a computer mic..you can reduce the ambient room noise by wrapping a napkin or something around the microphone but then you'll also lose some clarity...you might want to try and see if you can borrow a microphone from someone..that would give you much better results.

And remember to keep the microphone as far from the speakers as possible. You may be experiencing feedback from the speakers being picked up by your microphone.
