I just purchased a GRand Wega 60in.
Well i need to purchase a video cable, the cable will be extended by 12-15ft.
Which video cable is better for this s-video or componet?
Cheers and thanks,

component video is higher quality than s-video if that is the question --
both can be extended to 12-15 feet as you asked about with no issue .."Each problem that I solved became a rule which served afterwards to solve other problems." - Rene Descartes (1596-1650) -
but send me your WEGA and i will test it out for you -- it may take some time as i am backlogged ..

I'm only running 6' here and I've tried s-video and composite and it is hard to tell the difference between the two. I like s-video so that is what i'm using.
I would suggest you get some good cables like Gold Series cables, etc. I changed all my cabling and I could tell a big difference in capture quality and on my tv. Radio Shack thought they hit a gold mine when I walked out with my big bag of cables.Best improvement I've made yet.
Good luck. -
thanks guys that's a big help i got componet cables, gold of course, and the difference is unbelievable.
I also got componets for my ps2, WOW.
