iMovie is the only video editor I know of that use DV stream clips. The advantage of using DV stream instead of AVI or MOV is that everything occur in realtime. Thus after editing, I can export it back to DV cam or save it as .dv file in realtime! This mean an hour of video will take an hour to export as .dv file. On other video editors, it will take over 10 hours just to export as into a .avi or .mov file! (Using DV encoder)
My question is....is there any iMovie-like editor on the PC that can open DV stream clips beside Quicktime Pro for Windows?
Just another VCD to DVD hobbist.
