So here's what's going on. Windows Media Stream Editor only lets me mux multiple audio tracks that are coded different languages. So I can't use 2 English tracks, one being a commentary file.

One thing I've tried is converted it in Windows Media Encoder with a different language code- I just designated it as Zulu in the settings. But I can only get that to convert as high as 128kbps. (If I use the original settings (384kbps) it will give me a vague codec error about "0XC00D0BC2")

And since the bitrates have to be the same to be muxed properly, I run this 128 kbps file thru dPoweramp music converter. I get a 384kbps file now no problem- EXCEPT the new .wma file I've coded is no longer coded Zulu, but back to English! So I'm back to the same problem with Stream Editor. Any ideas? Thanks guys

Unless you have a very-good reason not to use it,
I recommend the Matroska container --- much less of a headache.

I figured out a way to put 2 tracks into a wmv-hd file, but when playing thru my xbox360, only 1 track shows up. All the answers I've found online show that it won't support more than 1 track. Not yet. Damn

well. I got the original codec error in Media Encoder when I tried to upsample the commentary track to encode to 384 kbps 5.1. Then I tried, to encode it as a video, even tho there is no video, and it let me encode to 384 5.1, then I demuxed the audio out Stream Editor. And with a new language code. The two tracks now show up in WMP and play fine on my computer. But when I copied the new wmv over to my external hard drive and played them on the xbox 360. Only 1 audio track.

success. Can't believe it was only a labeling conflict. My problem was I designated my commentary track as "English-Jamaican." Not "Zulu" like I said in my first post. Since the regular audio track was "English-US" it must have confused the xbox. ('There can't be TWO english tracks!')

I went back and reencoded it, labeling it the "Zulu" language. No more conflicts, thanks b66pak, if not for your post I probly would've never revisted this
