Personally I prefer Internet-based, simply because I can delete any e-mail without getting it inside my comp. With so much spam around I have no choice but changing e-mail addr several times a year. Friend of mine refuses to even consider Internet-based e-mail. He still has not learned, after at least 2 major virus attacks, when his system was completely wiped out.

A fast e-mail service w/o any banners is something you appreciate when you are on a dial-up. After I am done at college I will have to arrange a HS, though
