    Has anyone messed with this? Can you record in wintv mpeg mode and have it deinterlaced by descaler? http://www.dscaler.org

    NO you can't record anything with Descaler not AVI nor MPEG nor anything eles for that matter.
    But good news is if any when the WDM MPEG drivers get here for WinTV-PVR you get TV mode deinterlaced Windows and Full Screen mode how ever you can using WDM drivers rigth now but you will not be able to Record any MPEG in tell the WDM MPEG drivers get here.
