So far I've found that the best templates for video quality is the TlbrO for TMPGEnc. I haven't tried the XVCD 2PASS VBR one yet though.
What settings do you find are the best for this player? I've tried to make two minute samples and put several on a disc to view the O/P but this may not work properly.
When I converted Men of Honor,( there is a scene that has the ocean and people swimming ) most of the waves are "blocky" ive tried to fix this by changing bitrates, resolutions, and the sharpen edge utility. No luck yet.
What I have done however may not have worked as well as I thought.I made two minute samples of this and put them on a CD-RW. I found that nothing was consistent. The sample may have played well on the sample CD-RW but not when I did a larger sample. A sample that may not have worked would if I did do a lager sample.
Any help would be well appreciated.
