  1. Hi,

I wonder if it possible to make a DVD-R copy of a DVD, but with only one language...

I'm french, so only the french soundtrack interests me : in fact, i think that if i have less soundtracks for the copy, i would get the best quality for the video when duping the original via DVD2OneX or DVDRemaster, i'm i wrong ?

Well, i've tried to rip a DVD (bought in France) with MTR 1.6 (OSeX doesn't work on my box when choosing DVD Folder) and DVD-Backup, then choose Diskcopy with DVD2OneX. I've only checked French but the result has also english.

Is it possible to discard English or, as it's the original soundtrack, must i live with it ?

If i choose to create a DVD containing only the main feature, all is ok, but i woud prefer to have the DVD menus.

    Any clue?

i would think if you only chose the French soundtrack in DVD2ONE thats all it would put on the video_ts folder. You are saying it also puts english?! are you sure you only had the audio you wanted checked?!

I usually dont include anything but english and thats all i get. The dvd will scroll though as if there are the other soundtracks but you dont hear anything until you get to the one you picked in dvd2one.

removing audio tracks will improve quality somewhat, but we are only talking a few hundred megs here so its nothing fancy.

if you want to have high quality with menu [but no extras] look to my website in my signature, choose DVD to DVDr then Advanced tutorial

Yes, i only check french in audio, but i can choose english (and french, of course) in the menu of the generated DVD.

I wonder if the fact that english is the original audio track makes mandatory its inclusion in the generated DVD, in fact.

Yes, menus are only for features like choosing scenes in some movies. Not really useful for me, but great for kids...

Thanks a lot, i'm gonna read your tutorial.
