I have some footage I'm editing that was shot and shows up fine on the computer but is cropped when converted to dvd and watched on the TV.
What is the best way to resize the footage so that the entire picture is seen when shown on the TV. Should I do it coming out of premiere or when I encode it using the encoders settings? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks

What tools are you using? That way someone can give you specific instructions for how to solve your problem.

Thanks. I have premiere and export to mpg2 using either the mainconcept encoder, canopus pro, and also frame serve to tmpgenc all depending. Is there a way to resize going into any of these programs? I am also looking into getting better with virtual dub, CCE, and avisynth. Would any of these do the job instead.

You need to use an DVD authorizing program the lets you adjust overscan (title safe are). Most TVs don't show all of the picture.
