Where can I hire pro video/voice talent?

I am interested in hiring an actor with a professional voice to not only narrate a 2 hour marketing DVD, but also to appear in the video intro, and periodically appear throughout the dvd. So there would be around 2 hours of narration time and maybe 15-20 minutes of actual 'face' time. They would need to be on a semi professional set with maybe a plasma screen in the back or a computer and they would be sitting at a nice desk. Are there any agencies that I could hire a person to appear in the DVD and do the narration work? Is that sort of talent available? How much would price be?

I don't know how big a city you are in, but I would look up 'Advertising Agencies' in the yellow pages. They usually have professionals available.

Maybe even put an ad in your local paper.

Try your local radio station. I've used 2 different guys to do narration. One from an FM pop music station was good for an upbeat kiosk style video at a display (he later went on to be a TV presenter with own show on a national network).

The other guy was more staid from a national broadcaster (ABC radio national for those Australians here) and he was good for a video on heritage topics.

Contact a model agency, they have brochures with available people listed, but they seem to never get the height and so on right, doesnt look very professional actually when they always add 1-3 inches to the height and so on, but thats common in that business.
