    Is there anyway to discover who made a no-name brand DVD-R? It was given to me by a friend and there is no logo so I cant identify it. Is there anyway to discover where (what company) made this DVD-R. All the info on the disc seems irrelevant: DVD-R 4X speed, 4.7 GB General, DVD Video.

    I dont know how to use that program, and I only have a CD drive (I dont think it recognizes DVDs)

    The information is on the disc but you need at least a DVD Rom on your PC to find out what that information is.
    It is electronically coded on the disc.
