I've looked all over for an answer to this. I have read several different guides today, and none seem to apply or make it clear as to how to proceed with this project.

The goal: SCDG AKA Super CD&G. A DVD karaoke disc.

The starting point: Regular CD&G discs.

Moves so far: Tried CAVS encoder program, only to find out it doesn't work as it says, and getting NO response from their technical support team. I even called, only to get an answering machine, I left a message, but I've done that before and never recieved a response. So I chalked them up as a lost avenue. I searched for new method, due to research here, I downloaded CDRwin. Viola! Extracted single tracks as I needed and got them into Bin files. AHA I said...then....

I've seen answers for just about everything except for SCDG.
I've tried Isobuster after reading about it here. But when I extracted to mpeg, the file was blank. No size to it at all. I got confused. Re read and tried again. Same result. Did I push a button wrong? Am I going about it the wrong way?

The guides and how to manuals deal with mostly with VCD, ripping from DVD's, making SVCD's or several other types I am not interested in or do not need. It's possible that in my fried brain state, I am overlooking a valuable guide. I've been at this all day. Getting fustrated, but I'm too stubborn to quit. It can be done, I just have to figure out how, or be pointed in the right direction.

So. My end goal is to wind up with a SCDG (DVD Karaoke). I am willing to make a DVD with only a few tracks on it to test out anything I make.
Somebody had to be insane enough to try this once. Or at the very least, is way smarter than me and knows how to do this.

Time is something I don't have a lot of. I have 3 jobs, Sunday and Monday are only days where I have larger chunks of time available to try this.

I apologize to the veterns here. I realize that my post may seem stupid to you. I am a member of a board to, and it sorta eerps me when newbs come in and ask dumb questions. But I then remember, I was once new too.

Programs> Roxio Easy CD & DVD creator6/CDRWin/VCDEasy/Camtasia Studio/CloneCd/CloneDVD/ISObuster/and PowerKaraoke(Trial ver)
Will attempt to get Nero tomorrow due to some posts I read here. Server was down earlier this evening when I tried.
