Why is my video so clear on my comp but so "pixelated" when burned & played in a dvd player (read: PS2, XBox, and several standalones)?
I generally use TMPGEnc. Is this inevitable, have I done something wrong?
Thanx in advance.

As you've given no hint beyond that you use TMPGEnc, your question is impossible to answer. Try by giving as much relevant info as possible about your source material, target format, and every step taken from source to destination.
