    My brother has a problem with his computer.After 4 months one day the harddrive started to make loud noises and will no longer boot.I have changed the harddrive for him but am now left with a broken harddrive that has a mfg date of 19 Jan 2004.The shop which he bought the pc is no longer open and the web site (www.maxtor.com) does not seem to work.Has anybody got any suggestions on what to do?.
