VCD?

Sonic came with my DVD burner. I obtained DVD Shrink and Nero. I have shrunk and am attempting the burn. In Nero the closest option I see to burn my movie to a DVD is to choose Video CD. Is this the same as DVD? Also, errors keep popping up on the transfer that state "Not Video CD Compliant" and I okay through them. Will this keep my movie from being clean?

VCD and DVD are two entirely different standards. To learn what the differences are click on the WHAT IS VCD and WHAT is DVDR links at the top left of this site.

Your version of Nero apparantly doesn't support DVD burning. Either update or switch to a program that does.

Personally, I use IMGTools classic to create an .iso image from my files, and then I burn in DVD Decryptor. Both of these programs are free and can easily be found via google. I believe the latest version of DVD Shrink can output disk images, so you may be able to skip the IMGTools step and just burn the output directly in DVD Decryptor, but don't quote me on that.

Nero Burning Rom won't do - you need Nero Vision Express 2.

Nero Burning Rom can burn to VCD, but only NVE2 can burn a DVD-movie.

This is a "add-on" to Nero Burning Rom, and you can get it from www.nero.com (trial).
