  1. hi y'all,
    i hope this is the right forum.
    in order to burn a divx movie to dvd i use canopus procoder to encode the avi file to dvd
    i have .sup subtitles.
    how can i create one avi file with the subtitles in it?
    please help me.

  2. I am a bit confused here. You have SUP files which are separate bitmap subtitles that can be added to your final DVD using for instance IFOEDIT...
    You would then have selectable subtitles just the way it s supposed to be on a DVD.

    What you are trying to do, however, is to permanently burn them onto your AVI file??

    In that case I would use SRT or SUB and use the TextSub or Vobsub filter within VirtualDub to add the subtitles to the video, and output it to the encoder through frameserving.

    Look up the VirtualDub guides for more info.
