VCDGear has been updated to VCDGear 1.76 final build 031211.

If you have updated to SVCD2DVD build 1.5.2003 before 14:00 GMT 11th Dec. Please get the min download from the Updates section on www.svcd2dvd.com and extract the files to your SVCD2DVD folder.

Note that to enable the FIX element of VCDGear you have to set this on Configuration->Options

Yes, I have updated, enabled the fix mpeg option as well, still the same problem though.

However I noticed that if I rip the bins manually, with isobuster everything works fine.. so thats the way around the problem right now.

Can you try without the FIX option?

Can you send me a sample? Use the Make sample tool & ftp it to:

I have the same problems. Updating VCDgear didn't fix the problem. I want the old BIN-Ripping-Engine back!!

    This conatins:
    VCDGear 1.76 final build 031215

It is a recommended upgrade if your build of SVCD2DVD.VCDGear.dll is less than 1.0.1446.19990

Download the update here (do the ole right click save as....)

Add me to the list of people who haven't had a successful extraction since upgrading to v1.5 (not a single problem prior--100% success rate). Finally resorted to ISOBuster upon the recommendations in this thread to rip from BIN to MPEG, then created the DVD file using SVCD2DVD. Worked like a charm from there, but I'd like to see my one-step SVCD2DVD working once again.

There is a new build 1.5.2003.2

This includes a new version of VCDGear which works on the wilson uploaded files. It should resolve other peoples issues too.

Also to please users i have included the option to choose the old ripping program vcdxrip. Thus you can try the new VCDGear if you have issues you can choose the old ripper in the program options.

That said i recommend VCDGear where possible as it will produce better mpgs for processing in most cases.

To get it go to the Updates page on www.svcd2dvd.com

  13. I have a problem when I go to the users area to download updates. I enter my details correctly, from my registration e-mail. When I press the 'submit' button, the page just reloads. It will not even acknowledge the "Forgotton? Email me my serial." tick box.

I need to download the programme again, as I lost everything in a crash.

  16. Chrissy Boy, I've e-mailed you several times, you've replied once. That reply still did not fix the access to the users area. I've e-mailed you to inform you of this, but not received a reply.

I realise that you are very busy and do not expect an instant reply. Maybe you could sort an alternative download.

I have had to use the demo version for 3 months now!
