Hi,
Problem: When viewing the parts of the movie when they are talking in
Japanese, the english translation does not appear.
What I used to process:
- DVDDecrypter ver 3.15-File Mode(select all)
- DVD2One(tried versions 1.3 and 1.4)Movie Only,selected both english
subtitles, angle 1.Using either versions still does not rectify
problem.
- IMGTool-used to create iso image
The only way that I could make the english translations to appear is to select either of the english subtitles that I have chosen.
Is there a way to make the english translation come up automatically when they are conversing in Japanese without manually choosing the english subtitles?
I noticed that when I played the original DVD, it automatically enabled the first english subtitle so that the english translation of the Japanese language appears without manually choosing subtitles.I used WinDVD to view the movie.
Can use I IFOEdit to have that first english subtitle be "on" permanently so that when they are speaking in Japanese, the enlish translation will show up?If so,can anybody direct me to the correct guide or show me how?
Thanks In Advance for the help!

I think that you need Japanese steel to get rid of your problem.

I had the same problem. Turns out I was just being a moron and forgot to tell IC8 that I wanted to keep all subs. For movies that NEED subs, I usually just keep all of them for good measure. They're so small it doesn't make a difference anyways.
