Ok i'm having a hard time Encoding this movie i get sound but no image. i followed the steps from http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdtovcd.htm and i'm still having problems.
The first this i did was rip the movie with Smart Ripper to a folder and got, vts_06_0.ifo ,vts_06_1.vob ,vts_06_2.vob ,vts_06_1.vob, Ect..
Then i used DVD2AVI and got BEDAZZELED.d2v ,BEDAZZELED AC3 T01 3_2ch 448Kbps 48KHz.wav. Now when i was Useing DVD2AVI this is the setting i see when it is making the files
Aspect Ratio 16:9
Frame rate 29.970fps
Video Type FILM 99%
Frame Type nothing
Coded# nothing
Play Back# nothing
Vob Cell ID 1 | 1
Avg. Bitrate nothing
Format DD 3/2 448
Timestamp 0:00:25
File# nothing Size nothing
So after that i get my BEDAZZELED.d2v ,BEDAZZELED AC3 T01 3_2ch 448Kbps 48KHz.wav
I open TMPGEnc and still following the guide on http://www.vcdhelp.com/dvdtovcd.htm. When it is time to put a Template in load the only one that works for me is DVD (NTSC).mcf. Thats the only one that gives me a image and sound all other Templates give me sound but no ImageCan someone help me out to know why not all Templates for NTSC work and only DVD (NTSC).mcf works with Image & sound please
if someone would be able to help me out to get the right Image & Screen sizes i would really Appreciate it Thanks

As the writer of the guide, I also happen to have BeDazzeled so i'll do my best to help you out, for starters, I would suggest you download TMPGEnc and the VFAPI and DVD2AVI again, delete what you have (the entire folder with all it's contents) unzip the new downloads into the same location.
Re-Create the D2V/WAV file, start just by the defaults of DVD2AVI and Save Project like you did before, then try encoding the movie again, i'm 99% sure everything will work fine.

Question ? Do i really have to delete all the files i ripped from the CD's cuz i don't have them any more
brought them back to the video store.
Now i can tell you the way i have Smart Ripper, DVD2AVI , TMPGEnc, They are in my computer like this D:/how to make movies/TMPGEnc, D:/how to make movies/DVD2AVI, D:/how to make movies/Smart Ripper that is how i have them all installed you want me to put them like this D:/how to make movies/TMPGEnc/DVD2AVI/Smart Ripper ? let me know thanks -
Actually I ment deleting TMPGEnc/DVD2AVI, not the movie files
Ok, now move the contents of your Smart Ripper and DVD2AVI folders into the TMPGEnc, not as a folder under it, move just the files INTO the same location TMPGEnc, so they all reside in for example C:\Program Files\TMPGEnc
This should fix your problem.
