    Too bad there is no way of altering spelling mistakes in the subject heading. Clumsy of me to have missed it when I posted...


    I'll check the new firmware out but I won't be happy unless it burns 4X Maxell +R and Memorex/RicohJpn +RW at the rated 4X...

    Well, I can't say I gained anything. I burned a disc of mpegs in 35 minutes to a Maxell 4X +R while the same set of files burned to a Maxell 4X -R took 16 minutes...

    Problem fixed. Changed IDE channel and now everything is fine...
