I've done several searches on svcd/iso/menus/dvd, etc, I have a good understanding of how to get multiple SVCDs onto DVDR the "right" way. But I did not see the answer I'm looking for, so I'm just going to ask.
I have an Apex 1200, which is capable of playing ISO files. I've confirmed this by burning several SVCD mpg files to DVD (prior to authoring, just files output by tmpgenc) and it plays perfectly. I just got a DVD burner recently so instead of authoring them onto CD, I want to put them on DVD. Instead of making them DVD compliant, what I want is to just add a menu which points to specific mpegs (1 to 3 files per VTS), sort of a wrapper for the SVCD and not a true DVD.
SVCD2DVD seems to do that, but my specific question is whether the mpeg files have to be DVD compliant using ISOBuster or can it just be SVCD compliant. Am I making any sense here?? It's just the difference between using what I've got already and having to go through several steps of demux/mux, creating intermediate files, etc. Greatly appreciated.
Andy
