  1. I have 2 movies, each about 2 GB, authored with Tmpgenc DVD author and ready for burning. How do I burn them on one DVD-R with Nero so they are playable and selectable which one to view first etc.

By the sound of it you have authored each one separately with TMPGEnc DVD Author ? No good.

You need to drop back a step. Open TMPGEnc DVD Author, start a new project, and load each mpeg in as a separate track. Configure the menu to what you want and job's right.
    If in doubt, Google it.

No need to moan makntraks, he has obviously read the guides, made a simple error which jimmalenko answered, job done.

He does not need your crap, so don't give it to him.

All I was alluding to was that if he would have read further into the guides section, performed a search or two, I'm almost positive he would have found the answer to his question, one I'm almost positive has been answered for the upmteenth time...
Even I've done what he asked, by reading the guides and doing my own research... and I'm a far cry from being a young whippersnapper that who would rather take the easy way out than not.....

As great as this site is, I find more chaffe (sp) than wheat as time goes by.

That is a fairly common mistake. But, alas, you didn't tell him how to fix it. Instead you flamed. That's my job!

To 'fix' it do this. Open TMPG Author and create a new project. Instead of importing the original, import the DVD video you created in TAD before. This will preserve you chapter points. Quick menu and your done. Take maybe 3 minutes. When you output the job, do it to a different drive than your source vobs and it will take about 6 minutes (depending on your drive speed, otherwise it can take 1/2 hour) to finish. Burn and enjoy.

Being what I consider somewhat of a newbe myself in using forums your scarcasism is unproductive. Why expect everyone to reinvent the wheel. If you do not want to respond with a helpful post then don't respond all all.

If all you read is chafffe, then do us a favor and look elsewhere for your wheat.

I never said anything about reinventing the wheel... Do you know what "alluding" means??? His answer could be found in god knows how many places on this site (guides and forums, et al) and countless other related sites, but only if he took the time to search and read... he already has conquered the reauthoring portion of creating a DVD - how do you think he did that?? By asking a "chaffe" question? I don't think so as I will give him credit for getting that far...... If you look at his previously asked questions NONE of them have been answered... I wonder how he got this far???
I, just like countless hundreds of others have done so far, did not have to resort to asking a "chaffe" question when the "wheat" is contained on this great informative site...

Look here, for my guide on creating a 2 movie DVD-R, with a proper menu and chapters (if you want), using DVD2One and TMPGenc DVD Author

    http://www.thescrapyard.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/files/video/Fitting%202%20movies%20on%20o...Method%201.htm

I know it works perfectly, as I use the exact same method for my 2 movie DVD's

It also explains how to fit multiple episodes onto a DVD as well, with menu selection
