Pic from mpeg2

Any one knows how to make picture from movie mpg2 of dvd. I have window movie maker, tmpgenc plus 2.5, tmpgenc dvd author, sonicdvd, virtualDub, Dvdshrink. What I want is to get certain frame (picture) from movie for my dvd case label.

Usually the dvd playing software on your computer like Powerdvd or NVDVD have a feature that lets you take screen shots when playing a movie.

Thats what I use to capture screens from my dvds and hope that works for you as well!

also, windows media player classic does the same thing and its free. Just go to "file" "Save image as". I think thats even easier since you don't have to actually install it.

I think its better to use media player classic since it is free and you don't have to install it. really simple to use and plays almost EVERYTHING.

Search Google for MW Snap... it is a freeware window/area grabber, and you can save as jpeg or bmp.
