  1. I an trying to convert bin and q files so they can be burnt as a DVD They are in seperate files as two discs ). I was advised to use VCDGear which has changed them to a Mpeg, but when i try and load them into TMPGEnc to burn as a dvd one gives the fault that the GOP is too big and the other that the video resolution 480 x480 cannot be used for a standard DVD. Being new I am now STUCK can anyone help or direct me to a "how to " site ????
    Many Thanks

TMPGEnc will commonly give you a 'GOP too long' error when you go from a SVCD to a DVD. I, and many others ignore this and burn anyway with no problems. If VCDgear modified the header properly 480x480 should work also. (Sorry, I don't use that program) The audio needs to go from 41K to 48K to be compliant. You might try burning as a RW to see if it works properly. I use SVCD2DVD and it works fine, though I hate the .net program it needs.
