I've backed up something in the order of sixteen DVD-Videos since my last post, so I think I have the hang of shrinking, decrypting, and burning now. However, I have a bit of a tricky puzzle with one title.

I'm a big fan of Paul Verhoeven, and the fact that I own six different versions of StarShip Troopers will certainly attest to that. However, I am in a bit of a quandry with backing them up. I've basically decided that the PAL versions I own are not worth the effort, but the NTSC discs present a slight problem. The best audio content is, by and large, on the Region 1 Special Edition (two audio commentaries and an isolated score), but the video transfer is a big disappointment compared to the more plain-jane version that was released in 2000.

This is where the silly question comes in. Is it possible to take the soundtracks from one disc and put them into another? For example, if I want to take the second audio commentary plus the isolated score, and add them to the plain-jane version so I have better video, is there any possibility? If so, how?
