  1. I have just bought the above dual and RAM rewriter which comes with B's Recorder Gold.
However I want to keep my exisitng CD Writer which at 52x is faster and place it as slave to the new DVD burner.
Is it Ok to use Nero 6 for both drives. The new LG model is not yet listed as firmware in Nero's site but does that mean it is not recommended/ will give problems.
I have read other posts where Nero conflicts with B Gold and the manufacturers instructions say to remove all other burning software befor installing the DVD drive.
If not is this b's software any good?

    Thanks
    Phil

Yes it ok to use Nero 6 for both drives. You just will have to select the recorder if ever you want to change from your last used burner.

I would trash B's recording. IMO, its a rotten piece of turd. Nero is much better. Make sure you keep your Nero updated.

Don't install B's if you plan to use NERO. Probably, nothing will happen, but why take a chance. However, if you plan to use DVD-RAM packet writing feature, you may need the drivers that came in the CD, although again, I think you should be ok with InCD (not sure if it supports DVD-RAM or not).

    Cheers.

  3. Thanks very much for your help.

Just a second point, the manufacturers instructions say to install their software before installing the drive (I always thought it was the other way around for non usb hardware).

Is this the same for Nero 6, or as it is on my system already for the CD writer is it ok to connect up the DVD drive and it will find it automatically and add the necessary files to work with it?

    Regards
    Phil
