  1. am wanting to convert divx file to svcd but tmpgenc wont load the file, usual not supported error, in one of the online guides it suggests using lsx mpeg encoder, anyone know where I could obtain this I have a demo of 3.5 but it only apparently processes 60 seconds of video which isnt much use for a true evaluation, done a search of astalavista to no avail and am now pulling my hair out, would like to try this program as it seems to be simple to encode it to the right number of CD's

Any help would be appreciated, or if there is another (Simple) program anyone could suggest, as a newbie havent quite got the hang of ensuring the finished conversion fits onto a CD so anything which makes that simple would be great.

    Thanks in advance

  2. Get the DIVX encoder from the Tools & Useful software... from this site, start playing the Div-X movie (windows Media player) Stop playing but leave the window open... and run TMPGenc - (Works 4 me)

  3. when you say divx encoder i assume you mean the divx 4 codec, already have this and file plays in media player but still no joy with tmpeng have tried the latest version and the 200.29.113 but neither work , even after your suggestion about media player. Any other suggestions.
