I've been skimming the forum and I've seen quite some posts about "optimal" mpeg-2 capture settings for the AIW card from ATI.

From my experiences, you obtain the best results when capturing to AVI and then converting to (s)vcd.

However, if someone knows of a very good way of getting good results when capturing to realtime svcd, I'd appreciate it so I can compare. (Yes, I do know it's not a compliant stream and I have to multiplex it.)
