I just bought an HP DVD 420i and used it to make a backup of my Back to the Future DVD trilogy (I'm currently stuck on the first movie). I used DVD Decoder to decode it, DVD Shrink to drop the quality of the menus and useless extra stuff, and pretty much kept the actual movie at close to DVD quality.
Then I used CopyToDVD to burn the files. (I tried decoding/burning the movie with DVD X Copy Platnium previously on a DVD+R and it didn't work in my RCA DRC 220 DVD player, so I used DVD-R this time).
The movie runs great, superb quality (Except for menus and extras of course), but about ten minutes into it it skips a bit and the sound stops and it goes a bit garbled. Then it comes back about 5-10 seconds later like normal. Then about another 5 minutes later it does it again, and so on and so on until it just gets terrible.
Anyone have this problem besides me?? I really don't know what I'm doing, I'm new to DVD burning. Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Justin
PS> I'm using TDK discs, just in case that has anything to do with it.
