  1. It seems to get worse as time goes on...
    ie... Not so bad at begining of film but unusable by the end...
    ie... a simple delay won't work... unless I cut the film into chapters
    and fix each one... hopefully it wont be so bad by the end of each chapter.

    How do you suggest I fix an avi file with this problem?

    For those of you who are interested in this problem...
    You might try to download the TV series Shogun Its in 6 parts.
    I'm using WinMX to download it... This is the video that is giving
    me this symptom.

    The trick is to make the length of the audio match the length of the video. Use Gold Wave's Efect-->Time Warp function to lengthen or shorten the audio to match the video.
