i've been experiencing this annoying problem lately where i hit fast forward or reverse and the video is jumping all over to different parts and the counter on my dvd player is going crazy. i want to search to a particular time in the video and i end up being in a different part eg.i hit 20:00 mark and i get something like 11:49. but normal playback is fine. i encode with tmpgenc (usually over 2000 bitrate, sometimes max 2520) and then burn using nero 6 (usually at the lowest speed). is it a problem during the encoding process? if so, what settings should i look at adjusting? i think it has something to do with GOP structures? any help to solve this frustrating problem would be appreciated!!
