ive got a DVDR+ made with my TV dvd recorder but when I try to ghost to my hard drive with CloneDVD and.... DVDcrypter both get errors ive tried cleaning the disc but no luck, other DVDR+'s ive made with tv recorder have worked before why not this disc????

Is it a different brand to the others? If so, it may be disagreeing with your DVD-ROM. Have you tried SmartRipper? I find that sometimes it can rip dodgy discs better than other applications can.

I use TMPGenc DVD Author to get films from my DVD+RW recorded on Philips DVD Recorder to my HD

No Problems , I stuck the DVD in Open TDA ,Create New Project.
Add DVD Video , find the VIDEO_TS folder , open it , Select the recording I want . Check the box that says ' copy the clip video to the HDD' , Tell it where I want it and let it rip.
Close TDA and Ive got an MPG on my HD , when I play it it is there with sound.
When I have enough Clips to fill a DVD-R I use TDA to create Menus and chapters.
Thats it -
Just to let you know I had a disc to transfer , so I tried DVD Decrypter in file mode and just ripped the large vobs , there were two movies on the disc and it worked ok
