Burning PS2 games

i have a dvd burner and an unmodded ps2. is there any way i can burn ps2 games without modding it?

you can get a "start up" disk. first you boot up your ps2 with that then it asks you to load the "import" disk. I think its a pain in the ass, and your best way is to mod your ps2 or have it modded, but if you dont mind the hassle it might be the way to go.

Games are protected so you cant just make them play without a boot disk. If you could make your own boot disk then it would be possible to make your own self booting game thus eliminating the need for the boot disk. Try checking out dvdrom-guide.com or ps2newz.net, ps2ownz.com for more info.

Some people prefer modchips you just stick in the game and go you just need it installed by someone if you dont know how to solder. The boot disk requires no soldering only a flip top, slidecard, no solder chip, leaving the top off permanently, or some other method to trick the ps2 to make it think the door was never opened.

I got the slidecard and it works 100% every time,
all u do is take the front of the tray off, (just 1 screw)
then turn ur playstation on, put the swapdisc in,
when it says insert disc u slide in the slidecard to open the tray.
swap the swapdisc with ur backup, close the tray,
slide in the slidecard once more then ur playing ur backup.
