Im helping a friend to make DVD back-ups

My buddy asked me how i have been making back-ups of my DVD's and I told him that I use DVD2ONE. For some reason he wants to back-up all of menus and trailers and I told him that I would look here to find som suggested guides or methods. I found a guide a doom9 that looks pretty involved but I thought I would ask the question here to see if you guys know of anyother guides.

if he wants to keep everything, use dvd shrink. the newest dvd shrink versions will aitmatically shrink everything down so everything will fit. you will be loosing quality on the main movie if you keep all the extras though. i personally remove almost everything so that the movie will be good quality
